We have traveled throughout Wyoming and Montana and have not yet found an area we love more than the Big Horn Basin. The mountains protect us from severe weather and they also serve as a beautiful backdrop to this lovely area.
You will not find more down-to-earth, helpful and wonderful people than in these small towns.
There is a lot of local color. There are antique shops, auctions, local fairs, horse & cattle sales. There is always something to do and you will be made to feel at home. We have only been here a short time and have already been made to feel a part of the community. Come and find out for yourselves.
FACILITIES:
We have ten 12x12 stalls and a 60x80 indoor arena. The roping arena is still under construction, but the small 100x150 outdoor arena is always available.
Electrical hook-ups for living quarters/campers are available. There are also full bath/laundry facilities. Local motels are only 12 miles away.
Just outside the gate there is unlimited riding into the Bad Lands.
We will be compiling and posting the multitude of riding opportunities in this area within a 60 minute drive.
Just a short distance away there is POLO during the summer in Sheridan and Thermopolis, which hosts team roping, team pennings, barrel racing, cutting and reining competitions. There are also may roping arenas in the area.
We are also a great place to leave your horse while you visit Yellowstone Park, Jackson Hole and the many other beautiful places in this wonderful country.
